Applications for one of the world’s most famous running events are now OPEN.
Are you interested in taking part in an event that will leave you with memories you can cherish for a lifetime. Do you want to help to improve the quality of life within the maritime community?
If you are interested in joining Team Seafarers UK in this fantastic race then please visit www.crunch.org.uk/seafarers and pledge to raise at least £1300. When filling in your application form please mention that you have come direct from the Seafarers UK website.
We will provide every member of Team Seafarers UK with everything needed to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible.
Including:
- Fantastic training, nutrition and fundraising information
- A Seafarers UK running vest
- The option to receive balloons, posters and other fundraising tools to help you with your fundraising efforts.
- Regular updates and communications to keep you motivated
- Access to snacks, drinks, massages and showers on our fantastic after-race reception on HQS Wellington on the River Thames.
- A member of the events team always on hand via phone or email to help you with any fundraising or training issues you may have.
The official London Marathon ballot is now open and closes in October. If you were one of the lucky people to gain a place when the announcements are made in December please do let us know. You will still have access to all of the above but you will not have to pledge to raise a minimum of £1300.

Scorching Heat Does Not Stop Team Seafarers UK!
Warmest thanks and congratulations to our team of runners, all of whom finished this year's 2007 Flora London Marathon despite the intense heat! They celebrated afterwards at a very enjoyable party shared with the Downs Syndrome Association's runners aboard HQS Wellington.
Between them they raised the magnificent sum of more than £45,000. Thank you to everyone in the team.
