On Sunday morning it was another early start with teams cycling around the 62 miles of coastline in scorching heat, in order to receive their Wightlink medals. Team Trinity House completed the course in under 5 hours with team MDL, 2nd completing the course in 6 hours 30. MDL described completing the Round Island Cycle Ride as “a fantastic sense of achievement, completing the course as part of a team was brilliant, and the great scenery kept us going when it got tough.”

On Sunday night everyone joined together to celebrate the success of the weekend at Cowes Yacht Haver at a pirate themed party. Despite the exhaustion, everyone was in a party spirit and the celebrations continued late into the night and for some early into the next morning.
